  We booked our tour with Family Adventure Charters. One of the guides of Crystal River Watersports broke etiquette and encroached on our space as our captain was readjusting our anchor. Extremely disappointed that this could have ruined our day and my 40th birthday but thankfully our Captain was professional and got us to another spot. When we encountered this tour guide later in the morning he threw up his hands and said "We gotta share." So disrespectful. We will never book with this company as integrity is important to us.

  We did the manatee snorkel, Rainbow River Drift Dive, Blue Grotto, and Devil’s Den. Loved it!!! These were my first fresh water dives, and Vince, our dive guide, was fantastic! Everyone at the shop was super friendly! Definitely recommend!

  The Manatee and Rainbow River tour was awesome. The entire team was welcoming and helpful. Heather and Captain John guided us safely to the mother and calf. It’s evident that they love presenting the manatees and the the local area. Rainbow River was equally awesome. Our Divemaster John was equally knowledgeable. The dive was amazing! Thank you for making great memories.

  I had a great time with Crystal River Watersports. I went on a Sunday as a solo snorkeler/diver. They helped me set up a reservation that made the most sense for me! I did the manatee snorkeling in the morning and a rainbow river drift dive in the afternoon. John and Mike were on the manatee snorkeling, and on our way there, they told us all about manatees and I learned some new things! Seeing the manatees was amazing. They took great pictures which I bought later (for extremely reasonable price and got a cute manatee-shaped flash drive). For the rainbow river drift dive, John was the dive guide and I had a great time! It has been several months since I've dove, and he helped me out in remembering all the steps to setting up my gear. He knew the dive site really well, showing me all of the cool things to see, and took some great pictures along the way. I really enjoyed my day with this shop and will certainly be returning sometime soon with some family members to enjoy the manatees of Crystal River!

  It was a great Manatee Tour to the Manatee Sanctuary. Robert was the captain and Yvette crewed. Yvette was very patient and helpful and took many pictures for us to bring home. ( of course for a fee). There were little ones on the trip and she was very patient with them. I thoroughly enjoyed being with the manatee, seeing them sleep, seeing babies feeling. This was in early January in the early morning so it was a little chilly riding out, but the water was warmer. It was a great experience and I would highly recommend it. There is nothing better than seeing a manatee in it's own natural environment. The Sanctuaries created protect them and the tours educate but allow people to interact as natural as possible.
