Our Adventures are custom tailored to snorkel locations with the best conditions for YOUR trip. We typically anchor at a minimum of two snorkel sites. We have dozens of sites we frequent, including those on Lanai and Maui, including Menele Bay, Sharkfin, Dino, Lighthouse, Club Lanai, 1st and 2nd Cathedral, Shipwrecks, Honolua Bay, Olowalu, Shark Pit, Mala Pier and others.

On this adventure there is optional SCUBA diving for both certified divers and new divers through our Discover Diving Experience. Blue Water Maui is the only snorkel tour on West Maui with a true SCUBA diving experience. If you opt for this you will have a one tank dive at one of the tour stops.

We are also the only company with giant floating islands we attach to the boat.

While snorkeling and diving expect toÂ see with turtles and abundant marine life and experience beautiful coral gardens and we often encounter dolphins.

Justin and Mark are amazing well worth getting up early - we had a great day of snorkeling scuba and whale watching. Definitely going back and doing more with this group

We awoke to gray skies and rain predictions but headed over to the launch site anyway. We were 45 min early which was unnecessary as the rules at the launch site is they have only 10 mins to use the ramp so once they arrived, we were off. Our captain, Christina, was fantastic! Upbeat, friendly, experienced and knew so much about whales it was terrific because, as she sorted our intended path to best avoid the scattered showers she also did a great job of whale watch leading. It was like a science class on the water! We missed 90% of the scattered showers through her great captaining. I recommend splurging for the more expensive option. We had only 2 others on the boat both who were signed up for scuba. I was sorry I hadn’t chosen that option as my daughter has a long-standing desire to try it and the man on board in charge of that was super nice and experienced. It was truly our favorite part of our trip! Many thanks!

I highly recommend this trip for anyone excited about snorkeling! This was my first time snorkeling and they were very kind and helpful. The boat was comfortable, and we went to two different spots to snorkel around. Captain Chad and the rest of the crew were super nice and made the trip so fun! He had lots of fun whale facts to share as we sprinkled in whale watching while we warmed up before and after snorkeling/diving. And last but not least - the food was delicious! I was nervous because I have a few food allergies but they were extremely accommodating (which is very rare, especially on tours!).

We had an awesome time! The crew was so knowledgeable about the area and marine life. With their knowledge of the area, it helped with our experience. We were going to head over by Lanai to snorkel, but the wind and waves would have made for a brutal ride back. By not having a set destination, they are able to adjust to the conditions of the day. We saw a handful of whales, some sea turtles, plenty of fish, and a couple of eels. The boat was 38', so good size. The only thing we wish we had known ahead of time is there is no head on the boar. We highly recommend this! Have fun!

The crew went above and beyond to make sure we have the most amazing experience snorkeling and whale watching. I love that the crew decides where to take us based on the weather condition to make sure that we have the best experience while keeping us safe. It was absolutely the perfect way to experience Maui. Highly recommend it! We’ll definitely go with them again!

My husband and I were first time snorkelers and the crew made us feel super comfortable. The crew was super welcoming, fun to be around and the locations were awesome. Mark, the captain, was super attentive and kept a close eye on the water to keep everyone safe.. updating us where the currents were and where to stay to avoid them. The locations we went to were off of Lanai and then right off of Maui. Got to see dolphins on the way to lanai. As a side note, I’m always suffering from motion sickness and very well knew the risk of being on the water all day. The crew was so awesome when I started to feel unwell, giving me waters, essential oils and more. Just a really kind experience and showed that they care about their guests.

Save your money - while the boat ride was fun and we saw dolphins up close, the snorkeling experience was meh. We chose Blue Maui over others because itis advertised “This adventure features our exclusive Blue Water Maui Floating Island for lounging, playing or drift snorkeling!” However there was no drift snorkeling, even when requested. In fact, when our kids wanted to use the pad, it was being used by divers and we were told to wait. We spent the majority of our time at the first spot with very little to see despite being told we’d be there 10 minutes. The second spot was great, but even when everyone was loaded, we continued to stay there, cutting the most spectacular spot to a mere 15 minute experience. While the crew was kind, they weren’t overly eager to help. Equipment including the vests, cooler and lily pad are in dire need up replacement. The chef lunch included cold mushy burritos and quesadillas. Fortunately all 3 places we snorkeled are easily accessibly by land. We have done several snorkels without children and found this one to be disappointing.

Amazing time! super fun! Takes you to a couple great snorkel spots, and you're definitely going to see turtles! Enjoy your time like we did, and hope to see you there because we will be returning.
